Copy, Cut and Paste can be used to copy data among data fields, in the traditional manner. Copying is via the clipboard, so you can past data from other applications, e.g. repeater frequencies.

If you want to copy channels, either from one part of memory to another, or from one profile to another, you can do so with the standard Copy, Cut and Paste features.  Note that the clipboard uses a special format to copy channels that contains all the data for the channels copied to the clipboard, so you won't be able to Copy a Channel to the clipboard, then Paste it into a text field, for instance.  To understand copying of channels, see Copying Channels
